Bombay Sweets And Strawberry Tea Poem by Dilshan Boange

Bombay Sweets And Strawberry Tea

Bombay sweets and Strawberry tea
A celebration to both taste and see
The smoke that unfurls is a song of relief
Wrapped in respite although a moment brief

The eats in mellow sugaryness sit
Tea aroma pervades the rooftop dimly lit
Curls of scented steam and smoke touch senses tender
The solid, liquid, and vapour three levels did engender

Sugar of the toungue the mellowing solid did cause
Sugar of the liquid perfumed the air to pleasantly pause
Sugar of the smoke could be not tasted, nor touched nor seen
Sugar of three forms merged to give the being a sense before not been.
