Books Poem by Jacqueline AntwiDanso

Books

Rating: 4.3

Books are my best friends
I carry books wherever I go
Books, I don't like to lend
To careless people who despise them so

Books carry knowledge and information
That the world needs to survive
Books don't deserve condemnation
For they make us feel alive

This is really a much better poem than many will give it credit for being. I'm going to pick it as a favorite because it is worthy and I may be able to use it as an example in the future. I gave it a ten because it is worthy. GW62

A sweet poem! How old are you? It's really nice to be writing poems so young! You like books don't you? I used to like them a lot too. Well, I still like them now, but I guess I dont have much time for it as I used to have. Won't you write a poem on that as well, sweetie?
