BOOKS ARE OUR BEST FRIENDS

Books are beckon of hope and guide
For humanity since the down of civilization

Books came in our lives in different shapes
On rocks, on leaves, on paper now on computer screens

It has been long uninterrupted jouney for books in our lives
Books are on all topics under the sun; on religion, politics, history

On science, psychology, literature, fiction, poetry and Atheism
No match to book as companion, friend, guide and confidant

Books are means to acquire excellence in every walk of life
Be it teacher, scientist, banker, poet, architect, doctor

Always give right guidance and inspiration to excel to all
To enable one to become a success in one's areas of interest

The books which spread hatred, disharmony and create division
Have limited life span and die its own unceremonial death

The beautiful nature of book is, it always believes in giving and sharing
Books have been custodian, protectors, saviour of human civilization

The books treat all equal and give equal opportunity to acquire knowledge
The good books are above religion, caste, creed, colour sect and nationality

The good books transform men to civilized human being and a responsible citizen
It transformed Balmiki from dacoit to writer and Ashoka to preacher are to be noted

The books travel across the globe like birds and wind with message of love and wisdom
Being in different languages, message is same; love, knowledge, wisdom and understanding

Men come and go like babble good books are immortal like soul till eternity
The books are good companion in loneliness and silence for one and all

The books enrich our knowledge about nature, animals, morning breez and seasons
The books shall remain voice of humanity as ordained by nature in all scriptures

Had there been no books, we would have remain in stone age till eternity
History of saga of human civilization would have remainedincomplete without books! ! ! .
