Borderline Blues Poem by BettyAnn Riggins

Borderline Blues

By harsh day I am transparent come see inside my soul
At night it's heir apparent my mind is next to go.
Flesh and bone dissolving, right before my eyes
As no one can step forward and save me from the lies.
Their acid flesh raze my skin, revealing just the nerve
It's ravenous kiss across myself, with a certain verve.
I know not yet what to do, with my wretched life
But as for now I still remain; Mother, Lover, Wife.
