Both Good And Evil Rise (1) Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Both Good And Evil Rise (1)

Christ bride of death; has no more fear
We dread no judgement sword
To wayward flesh we die whilst here
And reap God’s just reward

The blind believe this! life’s but real
At death there’s nothing more
There’s nothing flesh and bone can feel
Once life has closed her door

All consciousness will come to cease
Life’s clock will just unwind
Eternity; brings endless peace
To body soul and mind

They’ve no regard for how they live
No judge of life to dread
No punishment a God can give
When dead we’re truly dead

There is no Christ who comes to save
No Heaven and no hell
That none’s returned from death and grave
Who otherwise can tell

Such fools believe its end to thought
In death at last we’re free
Ignorant, of the true report
That Christ to life’s the key

The bible tells it all so plain
When Jesus’ bride’s complete
Both good and evil rise again
To face the judgement seat

The end, will bring a sad surprise
For those still blind and lost
The truth will open wide their eyes
At such a dreadful cost. PTO.
