I'm sorry that I made that choice
I'm sorry I thought wrong
I didn't know that you were weak
After you'd pretended to be strong
You acted so indifferent
Like you would be fine on your own
So I didn't let you back into my life
I left you all alone
Maybe I made a mistake
Thinking that it was through
Some day I'll apologize
For what I did to you
You apologized to me
And that was to you a strain
To talk to someone you hurt
Someone who in return caused you pain
Now I'm ready to admit I'm sorry
But I'm not ready to let you know
I'm not strong enough to tell you
I can't let my feelings show
You have to understand it
I've been hurt too many times before
And now I'm afraid to tell you
That it is you I'm longing for
We've both made some bad decisions
We've both made mistakes
But neither of us knew
That Both Our Hearts would break
