Box Poem by Stefan Hanson

Box

A square is not a bad thing
It makes a box to keep us warm
On the inside it is safe and comfy
There are friends and family to keep company
So why would one want to leave
The lands of wine and cheese
The safety of the box so dear
Maybe curiosity to see that which is on the outside
Maybe out of lactose intolerance or a disdain against wine
Will we ever know why they stay away
Never until we go out ourselves
But until that happens well never leave
sounds like a paradox I once heard
Alas my elders assure it's of no consequence here
