Break Poem by Harley Halford

Break

Break me, don't save me.
Push me, into the fast lane.
Because it's my heart that you wont keep.
Thinking of you face, your smile, not being able to touch you, it drives me insane.

Butterflies fly by, they mark the movement of time.
No life moves as smoothly as the waves in the sea.
Maybe you haven't noticed but you are the love of my life.
My love, my love, is no longer as silent as each and every heart beat.

Ba-boom, ba-boom. Can't you hear it loud and clear.
I have tried it all, but there is nothing more I can be.
I gain more love for you with each of my fallen tears.
So tell me baby, tell me. Why don't you love me?
