(note: this was originally a song)
Dreams are often broken
And lives are often lost
But me losing you
Is like a fish right out of water
Hard as I tried to find you
I’m now having to let you go
For holding on is killing
The little life that’s left in me
And I’m just starting now to see
That we may never be
And holding on is harder
Than letting you go
I’m just starting now to see
That we may never be
And holding on is harder
Than letting you go
I’m waving both my arms but
I wish you’d reconsider
Because
You might come to find
That I died, Waiting on your love
Since I can’t make you stay
I’ll wait here till the day
I hear that you need me
And I’ll come running
Because
I’m just starting now to see
That we may never be
And holding on is harder
Than letting you go
Yes, I’m just starting now to see
That we may never be
And holding on is harder
Than letting you go
I’m just starting now to see
Starting now to see
Starting now to see
That I must let you go…..
Marvin Brato, I don't know what gave you the Idea that I though Love is/was perfect... You must not understand my poem at all. What this poem is saying is that I'm letting someone that isn't happy go, because as much as I love this person, I'm not the one that makes them happy. But I want them to be happy so I let them go. Get it now?
Wake up from your dream and discern the reality that love is not perfect, but if is lost then surely another better will come your way.
Nice Poem Njeri..Keep on giving such good stuff to ur readers. With Regards, Priyaa Arora
