Break-Up Blues Poem by Mohit Dhawan

Break-Up Blues

She left me loose on a stupid little table of that coffee shop,
Brusing my throat and breaking my heart with a mercy-less drop

She said 'I love you and will do it too till my dying day',
'But, can only do it in my way, so dont express or ask me to move around now'
'All i can give for good time sake, a handshake and a tender bow'

Ocean of emotions, that we filled without a break,
but your refusal in jest, cut it into a perfect fake

Even on those white roses, now your words can't stand
i have slipped my life on them, now i dont wanna understand

O'now I am on the loose,
this ocean's-a-cruze, where
truth is smear and rain is dear
i am sailing through my break up blues.....

i am sailing through my break up blues.....
i am sailing through my break up blues.....
