Breath-Taking Poem by Tlou Romeo

Breath-Taking

Rating: 4.0

As I cry, I inhale. I inhale the lyrics of soul sister, Look me in the back and see the route to freedom. Hand in hand with my emotions. I hold the key to joyous land, give me the love of mother to child so I could wipe this crisp tears of my face. I've seen what a man's thought could do to a rocky smile. Take me to the land of my mother's dreams for me. I wish I hadn't knew the thoughts of youth. Born free as a soil, I took in mind the consequences of being ungrateful to my enemies. I inhale, I inhale the cry of solo grass, abandoned was I who chose to feel for one kind. Give me the love of mother to child so I could wipe this crisp tears of father face, as he remembers the feeling of being a youth. I spit to ground and swear to give birth to land of riches. As I cry this tears of joy, I inhale. I inhale thick air of being born free, free of determining the feature of yesterday. Because I have a dream. A dream of not wanting to exhale the breath of Africa
