Brides Unwanted Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Brides Unwanted

Rating: 5.0

The cricketers choose childhood friends to wed
and make the cheer girls by heart get hurt.
The cinema heroines too some tears shed
but the players aren’t ready to blurt.

The girls to pass time run after the sages
and into the stadium verve they have to bart.
Coverage they get to boost their images
Yet no bastsman buys them in the mart.

Many a girl duck and diverse their men
as the fast in-swing balls the middle stumps hit.
Even the spinners don’t strike at such a hen
for the nice fabric of life to knit.

O girls, you gabble, wobble but in mind feeble.
Is life a glass of wine for you to fill and refill?
