Bridges Poem by Dorsey Baker

Bridges

Treat your neighbor
like a neighbor
your friend like a friend
don't burn your bridges
because you never know
when you might have to
cross over
them again
lend your fellowman
a helping hand
because you never know
when
he might have to
lend you one
you didn't make it
all by yourself
always remember
where you come from
and don't burn your bridges
because you don't know
when you might have to
cross over
them again
don't burn your bridges
let them stay
because you just might
have to cross over them
again someday!
