Bright Star Of My Soul
Bright star, would I call thee
As you shine upon my heart.
Not alone your upon me
I was alone in the dark.
How can I write this poem of love
Yet my heart is black as sin?
Eight years I have been a Christian
Yet still addicted to my sin!
But there is hope in this darkness
You bright star upon my soul.
There is cleansing at the cross
Your tender grace is all I know.
