Brighter Days
Unsaid words,
Hold such power,
And they get stronger,
With every hour,
Feeling passion,
Feeling disdain,
These are my feelings,
I feel insane,
I'm so confused,
Feeling so numb,
Yet also amused,
Isn't that dumb?
Shades of black,
My world is drab,
Except for a tulip,
That I reach to grab,
So vibrant & fresh,
It brightens my day,
My smile came back,
I hope it'll stay.
