British Columbia Poem by John A. Hancock

British Columbia

I remember British Columbia
The land of sun and rain
Snow capp'd mountains and tall fir trees
And lush green terrain
How could one forget the sun
Shinning through the forest trees
Creating a white mist of beauty
As far as the eye could see
I can almost here the ocean roar
Smell the clean salt air
If I close my eyes and think a bit
I can picture myself there
To fish the mighty Fraser again
What a joy that would be
I wish I was back in that land
They proudly call B. C.
