Broken Girl Poem by Logan Arnold

Broken Girl

Rating: 4.5

Broken Girl you gave your heart away
He never cared about your love
All the while your smile sings loud symphonies in my head
And your eyes would always be enough to keep me alive.

Broken Girl you run to me, again, broken.
He pushed his luck and he broke your heart and he left you alone.
Stay with me. We'll both be okay crying.
You can dry your eyes on me tonight.
(it would get me through until the next time we are here. I am forever lost in bliss around you. I just need another night like this to discover what it will take for you to know me. I love you forever.)

Broken Girl you have caught him out again.
He finally saw the heartbreak in your eyes.
He just smiles like he does and takes your hands.
You decide to give him another try.
(It would get you through until the next time. You're forever lost with him in your memories. You just need more time to show him and time to find the words and things to get you through.)

Broken Girl you ran to me yesterday.
He's put a ring on your hand.
