To love someone
will always turn
his love has never begun
you opened your heart
for him to turn away
he never loved you
no matter what you do
he is always looking the other way
for something new
more connected to other women
from his past
more to say to them
silence with you
always worried to say something wrong
never good enough
for love to be returned
can he even say the words
of any types of affections
left in your tears
that fall to your feet
hidden from him to see
hoping not to push him
even farther away
it would really easy for him to leave
to open his heart
was not for you
only pain and suffering
of a broken heart
that once you swore
would never start
built back those walls
never let it happen again
the pain is to much
to leave someone
with an open heart
love is just not meant to be
