Broken Wings Poem by Melissa Bange

Broken Wings

Rating: 4.5

Bended wings tred softly hollow ground
Over cracks and crevices traces of life be found
With gentle, soft words be said,
Bended wings will soon mend
But tred rough this sacred ground
And only broken wings be found
So easy is our anger fed
Then sought out words of love be said
Our bended wings now broken and shattered lie in pieces of the heart
While some where under cracks and crevices sits the temptation of
who you are
Still, when your down and your wings be broke
Don't dare give up on hope
It will pull you through, and you will stand tall
No matter what hell has rocked your world
