Brown Eyes - Poem by Brookelyn Walker

Dark brown eyes hold no lies,
But the person behind them does.
She tries to hide, stupidly thinking
That the pain will subside
And all of it is pulled away,
like the residing tide.

Poet's Notes about The Poem
