From somewhere on a balcony above me
She blows bubbles into the sky,
Now caught up in the wind and
Drifting so beautifully by my window.

In her simple, joyful expression of life,
This unknown friend
Has made me feel more alive and
Awakened to this new day
Dawning there just over the horizon.

I must learn to experience
More of these little “moments” in my life;
Before I, too, one day
Drift away like bubbles in the sky.
