Buddies Poem by Marie Alexandra R. Ibarra

Buddies

It’s getting to the end of school,
When summer starts to come.
But now we start to miss –
the people we cared most.
We made new buddies from Day One,
and were friends for the year.
We really don’t know what to say,
Since the days are fast and quick.
It just didn’t feel the same,
on vacation and at home.

The greatest memories were remembered,
lying in our hearts.
But most of all,
wherever we go,
just always remember that you’re not alone.
Because you’ll look back at the best of years,
knowing that you’ve made the best of buds.
