Burning Emotions

Anger is a virus
Slowly killing the person you are
Ripping all the compassion in you to ash
Making your heart heavy with hate
You welcome the fire raging within you
It is easier than feeling the pain
The pain that brings you to tears
So you welcome the anger to live inside you
Until the day you stop running from your pain
The day you stand and face it

It's a nice, short poem that has described the destructiveness of raging anger, which turns our hearts 'heavy with hate'. A well written poem.
