Burning Hunger Poem by Jon Edward Walker

Burning Hunger

Rating: 2.0

she closed the door quietly,
slowly
her eyes fixed to mine
until it became impossible to
see each other

I wished we would have made love
the night before
I wish too that I had dish soap
to clean something so I can
make something.

right now,
I will make neither
love nor food
