Burning Of Life Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Burning Of Life

Burning of life, yes,
Burning - - there was a Figure
That passed into the night
All helter-skelter
Following the ghosts and shrouds
there were jewels - those were
eyes - diamonds from the East
talking
talking
the leaves and trees were
whispering
In the cemetery
Yesterday
at night
