Burning Oil Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Burning Oil

Burning Oil

From time of Darcy
Signing a treaty
With the shah of Iran
To ship oil and so on
Hearts have been on fire
And turning to Kebab.

Ignore the flame of
The baseless media
Reflecting powerhouse
Of madmen in Moscow,
Washington, Pentagon
And Peking to London
To Paris, Manilla…

Take deep dive, scuba
Among the best corals
See schools of the fish
Seeking for normal life.

Fishes are you, and I.

Burning oil's history
Is success, victory
For sellers of the arms,
Fighters and submarines!

Don't be fooled by the desk
On it, files and records;
See the hands underneath
(Trump and M.B.S.)

Do you see them flirt?

Prior is the wolf
And latter is devil.

Fact-find the Istanbul
And actions of Council
To kill the journalist;
(Butchering his body!)

Watch circus, fire rings
And the tigers jumping,
Elephants while dancing
And parrots and monkeys.

These are to hypnotise
Your brain and my mind
Without some medium;
(They use mass media!)

Hone on facts and walk in
The way of line to fix
The pains of galaxies…

Why not look at Trump
And him with Obama?

Right from the start
He was the only one
To claim that Barack
"Is not an American…"

Not that the latter was
An angel from God
But sure, is far above
This brainless clown.

All fires and the wars
All the risks to our lives
All efforts for wars, fights
Share one root and are one
In the base and ground
Can name it "Donald Trump."

This rotten base in farms
Seeks its own dirty worms
To prove "He was wrong"
And "He" is "Obama…"

Go, tell him from me:
"Dead, alive, won't fear
Your barks in speakers! "
