Burquawalli,
Kya teer nayan hain, kya jakhmi jigar?
Pyaar ko pyaar tahane do,
Afshana banane naa do.

Burquawalli,
how the arrow-like looks, how the wounded heart of yours,
Let love be love,
Let it not turn into pathos, pine and pang of life.
