But Still She Stands There Poem by Ariel Smith

But Still She Stands There

she stands there
tears running down her face
wind nipping at her nose
rain soaking her through and through
but still

she stands there
waiting for him
to pick her up
so they can have fun together
but still

she stands there
and now she knows
as the tears run down her face
and the wind nips at her nose
and the rain soaks her through and through
she knows

that he isnt coming

The devil ties my soul in knots that can't be undone because my heart is broken it was my only one my tears are salty and cold and rarely are they warm and sweet one day i will die and finally have some peace
