By Pass

Are there any metaphorisms,
Clichés, hyperbole or euphemisms
To ever describe a man's plight?
A man's anguish amidst spasm of might
Of war and scar,
He doth did fight,
Of how he struggled
Suffered and burned in flaming quandary

Only to Bypass
Bypass his woman's heart.

Oh! Tell me, is it
Like that seemingly speeding sun;
Amidst the pleasure of a desired eclipse?
Or
Like that heart-touching breeze
At the deathpoint of a blazing sun?

Only to bypass
Bypass his woman's heart

Is it
Like these blinding cuts of lights
That divide my vision, this peaceful journey,

Like those mildest touch of hers
When thy body yearneth for infinity
Or like
Her thoughts that cross my naive mind
Amidst my desire to relive our dreams?

Only to Bypass,
Bypass his woman's heart?

In the tears and pain of turning back
To that threaded hope of another
Recounting memories of how he persisted,
Consistently,
All to catch and hold and only realise
Only to Bypass,
Bypass that ego-flasked transparent crimson of a heart....
Seriously,
Are there any metaphorisms...?
