Your courage, your strength, I admire it all,
From the first time you rose to the last time you’ll fall,
And I’m here to watch from atop your wall.

Burning cities, burning towns, all away from you,
This world is a hell no matter what we do,
But we’ll never stop moving through.

Your foundation, your fortress, forever standing,
As I, your support, aid you in expanding,
While the world’s commanding, demanding,
Always misunderstanding our love,
Always sending us to near crash landing.

But we’re stronger than that.

Pushing through people, barricades we raze,
Everything and anything that meets our gaze,
Anything that light touches with the sun’s rays…
They use haze, trying to raise hell in our courts,
But praise the Lord we don’t graze, they’d number our days.

So push, go on, there’s nothing you can’t do,
If only you knew just how far you flew,
When babe, it was only you.
But now I’m here, now you’re two.
We’re solid, we’re new,
We’re set and we’re true,
So far you grew, if only you knew,
And also, me too…
Because of you.

We share our strength, we’ll make it everlasting,
We’re like the night and day, thoughts always contrasting,
Making up everything, blasting the world with our casting,
Like iron we’re lasting, like that month when people are fasting…
Seems like forever, right?

Trust me where when I say I’m not acting,
All I want is for you to hear me asking,
Grasping me and gasping as we’re crashing,
From falling harder and harder in love.
And don’t you worry,
I’ll always be right here by your side.
