Bye, Bye, Bye Poem by Alex McCullough

Bye, Bye, Bye

Can you hear,
The cries of the night,
That roam about,
Lost in the mist of darkness?
Like a moon's howl,
That the wind carries,
Moving like a mysterious smoke,
Until it traps my soul?
Drifting back,
From dusk to dawn,
Dragging me towards the sky,
And into a hollow heaven.
Her kiss so aluring,
Just like her eyes,
Which captured my heart,
Within an veil of temptation.
But his warm smile,
Sent me into a daze,
Spiraling deeper into his arms,
Until I became lost in myself.
A guilding light,
That sends you on your way,
Wearing a blank mask,
Which way is the true path?
Bye, bye, bye,
Cried my mind,
As it flew through the void,
And into the lost me.
Come, come, come,
Into the hands of twilight,
Where false become real,
And the truth is always searched for.
But tell us,
What are you looking for?
