Byzantine Ghetto
Abject poverty
Roofless homes
Three-walled square
Partiality of bread
There is hunger
Half-filled glass
Filthy water
Rancid air
Black smokes
There is pollution
Naked children
Strapless baskets
Untimely deaths
Drought everywhere
There is scarcity
Restricted democrats
Cruel brotherhood
Selfish charity
Fabricated education
There is apathy
There is no cycle
There is no change
There is no beginning
There is no end
This wicked existence
