Call It Whatever You Like Poem by Elaheh Abdi Langaan

Call It Whatever You Like

Rating: 4.5

Once again I gaze at your eyes
Something enigmatic
Something bizarre
Yearning deeply as it catches mine
I prefer to ignore
You start to implore
The moments go on silently
Everywhere was dark
The crows start croaking
And the watch sing a song
Tick tick talk talk
Everything was ok till your heart bits fast
It bits fast and fast and fast
Then makes the love vast and vast and vast
Do you know what happens at last?
We set the fire by the first cast.

Love at first sight - a mutual natural affinity for each other, discovered as eyes meet and lock emotionally. A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
