Calulated Poem by Christian Hudak

Calulated

You can only see me in the light.
But then again..
What can you see in the dark?
I remain here untouched, & I feel insignificant
I can help you.
I am what you want mostly in your life
Consistency, certainty, structure - but you don't see it
I am what they call a tool
A structure in which is built to form the basis of another structure
I was brought into being in order make time seem -
Less relative, & to help acquire social efficiency & communication
I am fixed - unchanging
Unlike this world in which I have served so much
