Can I Be Anywhere But Here? Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

Can I Be Anywhere But Here?

Rating: 2.7

I want to be somewhere but here
This place is like a crowded room
Somewhere you can’t even hear yourself
I don’t like it
These people don’t even know me
They think they know everything
But they are so naive
I can do anything without them knowing
I won’t though
Because I still have a brain
I still have feelings
I also know what I think and feel
But them
They know nothing
They can’t tell when something is wrong
They only know what they want
They don’t care like they say
I wish I could be somewhere but here
