Can'T Stop Loving You Poem by Mandeep Singh 13

Can'T Stop Loving You

I don’t care for your love’ -when you promulgated,
Felt destituted of life and my heart was strangulated,
I managed to hold on, the breath was sinking,
And somehow squeezed and let out a smile, but so flickering.
Dejected I was to the core, I admit it’s true,
But pardon me oh dear, I can’t stop loving you!

I can’t blame you for your disregard for me,
But I eagerly desire, for you, not to abominate me.
The hope to get a look is what allows me to last,
Catching a smile narcotizes the pain of the heart.
Longing for these drives me all day through,
Your indifference won’t be enough, from me to stop loving you!

Bury me in the desert or throw into ocean to let me drown,
But that may not even cause my love for you to frown.
For I am the devotee and you are my God,
The sole existence of mine is to make you happy, oh lord!
People tell me to disavow her and call it a ridiculous pursue,
But it’s not in my control, I just can’t stop loving you!

What is the reason behind insanity, wonders Mandeep,
There is no reason for reasoning, is the reason underneath.
For when there is no reason for love, it’s a sure clue,
Let that be a reason, all I know is, I can’t stop loving you!
