Can you look into my eyes
And say you're not in love?
Put your hands on my hips
And say it's too tough?
Can you touch my cheeks
And brush back my hair
Kiss my lips
And still not care?
can you hold my hand
and breathe this in
as you apologize
For your so-called sin?
Can you hold me close
And whisper my name
And stil pretend
That it's all the same?
Can you forget it all
When the lights go dim?
Fight your battles
And still not win?
Can you drive away
And in the rearview mirror
Watch me cry
And not shed a tear?
