Can you give me the time? I really need to know
Can you give me the space? So our love can grow

Can you give me the patience? To make this love work
Coz patience is all that's needed; there's no trick or quirk

Give me the strength to lift our love high
Coz love lives on length of time that goes by

Give me the dedication and the attention I deserve
Coz it's all about appreciation in this love that I serve

Give me a sense of humour because laughter is love
It spreads like a tumour and it fits like a glove

Give me your being; your presence is all I need
Your undying participation is what I like seeing?

Just give your life to me, so I can truly share
Don't try to see through me, coz you know how much I care

Coz love is about sharing; taking the good with the bad
So please don't go tearing, my heart that would be sad
