Can You Hear Me Screaming? 2

I give a frightened cry as the door slams shut behind me.
Darkness surrounds my soul and chains my heart.
This loneliness I feel is nothing compared to the fears and pains that bind me.
I could have so much more to live for, but I know it’s just the start.

Can you hear me screaming,
Calling out your name?
You’ve left me alone and bleeding,
But you’re nowhere to be seen.

Can you hear me screaming,
Dying for your touch?
The Devil’s ghoul lies beaming.
My soul weeps in his clutch.

I give a frightened cry as the door slams shut behind me.
Darkness surrounds my soul and chains my heart.
This loneliness I feel is nothing compared to the fears and pains that bind me.
I could have so much more to live for, but I know it’s just the start.

My spirit sweeps across the flames of which no one knows – confound thee!
Creatures may hound my goals and blame my part.
Yet, this fright I fear is nothing compared to the hell of which consumes me.
I could have so much more to live for, but I know it’s just the start.

So, can you hear me screaming,
Calling out your name?
You’ve left me alone and bleeding,
How come you’re nowhere to be seen?

Can you hear me screaming
This voice I propel and shove?
You’ve led me to believing
That this hell is all for love.

I love your very emotional poem. Love can give us bliss but it can also agonise us.
