Can You See Me?
Sometimes I wonder
and sometimes I plead
to know who it is
when you look at me
Do you see me;
just a girl
in a very big world?
Or do you see
someone that was never
supposed to be here?
Can you see into my heart?
Can you see inside my dreams?
Can you see what this life
is doing to me?
I don't believe
that you see me.
I don't believe
that you know me, at all.
