Canada Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Canada

Canada

Wind blows, snow falls and body in shiver
The weather’s tough and rough, dangerous
Welcome to Canada.

But still I love you, your vastness and nature
I love your mixed-blood, colorful, Turk-Greek
The Russians next to Arabs and Jewish flower
All Tamil and Hindu and Muslims, immigrants
So lovely these gardens on soil of First Nations

Food and talk, cultures too, are beyond a digit
