It's out of my control
I'll have to face that someday
Right now I just want to fix it
I want to hold you tight
I wish I could make it better
Yet I know it will claim your life
You'll lose this fight
I can't make this better
That breaks my heart
I know you're dying
With that I'm crying
I'm not ready to let you go
You'll ease me into it
I hate that I can't change this
And you'll soon be gone
I can't fight it or make it better
I just want you to be better
It's out of my control
I'll have to face that someday
Right now I just want to fix it
I want to hold you tight
And never let you go.
