Candid Camels - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Candid Camels - Lincoln Park Zoo

We camels at Lincoln Park Zoo
Are used to humans taking pix.
Tiz like a game of peek-a-boo.
We humor humans in their kicks.
Why get our humps out of joint!
We know humans are a weird sort.
So helping them out is the point.
And we try to be a good sport.
Could be at any time and place,
A camera will be nearby,
And find its way in our face.
So we just smile - don't question why.

Camera addicts in a way,
We candid camels have to say.
