Candle In The Window
I wrote a poem,
On top of a star,
With hopes that you might see
That twinkle at the edge of night,
Is a vow to you from me
That though a million light years pass,
Beyond the gates of time
My love will never rest until,
We meet on the other side
The loveliest soft and gentle love poem for a loved one who has gone ahead... I swear, Bill, you are a master at stringing words together so smoothly that we follow you into your world and into your heart and feel for a brief moment what missing a loved one is - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bless you. The poetry is of course 10++++++++++++ but the warmth and yearning is uncritiqueable.
Hopes and dreams is something to live for! She'll see the twinkle of those stars and meet you on the other side...poetically beautiful!
