#Candle Lights

Over candle lights
Dim, diffuse yet meditative
Two eyes meet
And search eachother's soul

The candle light discreetly hides
And still beautifies

Over the candle lights
The perfectly rounded cheeks
Meet the firm jawlines
For, in the candle lights
opposites unite

The warm, bright light
Romances and melts
In the arms of the feminine night.

To write about romance has been always a popular thing and yet very few poets have succeeded in capturing this mysterious spirit of romance, your write is indeed a good try, I liked the way you presented the tension of moment caused by opposites, well done! (Report) Reply

it is an extremely romantic poem, the atmosphere of the poem is beautifully created by the light..dim, , diffuse..and meditative..'feminine night' is an exquisite poetic expression.it is a poem that celebrates beauty, romance, intimacy in the perfect shade and light of candles, , the candle melts into liquid wax as the two souls seeking love and romance put their indellible signature on the memorable moment during the feminine night which envelopes them, ...thanx (Report) Reply
