Canvas Consciousness

atop canvas consciousness
artist energies inspire minds imaginations create identities
cultivating rich inner worlds reflecting outward reality

Fragments of fantasy fired
supernova buck shots to the brain
consciousness channels processes chaos
honing holy harmonic expression

frenzied eddies of creative energies
out of this world craziness to cleanse the insanity
madness to shake up stir the mundane

metaphor's apocalyptic earthquake
alarm clocks counting down mental wake up call
poetry psychedelics painting portals

Artist doorways opening upon astral alien depths
Sex Drugs Spirituality
Compassion Love Unity Individuality

forming Life experiences
sculpting architecture of Self discovery

society's eager escapees craving cosmic orgasm
abstract enigmas open eyes
puzzling perceptions of space time dimensions

shatter preconceived self portraits
in silence or meditative mantra s
summoning shaolin strength

mind's eye mojo channeling celestial selves

cosmonauts of consciousness
artist mediums assigned to
act as creation's ambassadors

welcoming time passing ages to epoch
crossroads of eternity

You've captured consciousness on the canvas of my mind.
Awesome imagery and expression of it in this poem. Love it.
You have inspired my subconscious intellect on the road to
eternity. Very well written. RoseAnn (Report) Reply

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
