Statesmen
Not super but only human
To breathe and feel
The plight of their people

Even if they are dishonest
And not fully honest
We want them to deliver the best
For the national interest

It shall always be appreciated
And their achievements stated
Through gesture and applause
To stand firm with promises made

It is not possible
If you don’t struggle
It shall be counted as nice
If you side with them as simple choice

You shall earn
In return
Of good services rendered
Not with hollow promises but action through words
