Captain Morgan Poem by Eric Niehoff

Captain Morgan

I once saw an ad to be Captain Morgan
What a wonderful life that would be
Spending my nights in music filled bars
I was sure to be the life of the party.

Most people only dress up for Halloween
And that is all they could possibly handle
To be a pirate would be so much fun
I would only worry about causing a scandal

So I went out to practice the part
Drinking with a patch on my eye
So after a few I stumbled on home
But got too drunk and forgot to apply
