You are my captain
I look at you with my head held high
Wanting to be as good as you
As pretty as you
As smart as you

When you walk out on to that field
You hold your head up high
Waiting for the game to being
That you dreamed about
Waiting for that first pitch
That you dreamed about
Waiting to make the first play
That you dreamed about
Waiting to hit that home run
That you dreamed about
Doing it all with no errors
You are my captain
