Captivated In The Past Poem by Old Teenage Poems

Captivated In The Past

Rating: 5.0

There was something
inside you eyes
That held me captive
Although we said
our last goodbyes
There is no way
I'll ever forget
The very first
time we met
That look that
said 'I love you'
between your
silky tears
Your velvet eyes of
chocoa and honey
And the sweet words you
whispered in my ears

And those beautiful words
Are still only words.

I suppose that someone said that they love you, and you found out they were lieing through their teeth? ? I understand, it's hard to get over a break up especially with one that you thought you were in love with. But for every bad lover there is another one better out there for you. You WILL find him. don't loose hope A great read. XOXO, Kolee

Oh how sad... And those beautiful words Are still only words. Are we not so deluded by that which simple ignorance can afford us? To have open eyes is another burden we are forced to bear, but we can always open up and shine brilliant truth on that which is clouded by emotion and, as you say...'beautiful words that are only words.'
